Try it onthe horse.Then decide.
A rider can’t judge a bit from a photo. We rebuilt Bit Perfect on Medusa.js so customers can try one before paying for it.

[ THE CHALLENGE ]
Bit Perfect sells horse bits and accessories across the USA. WooCommerce couldn’t support letting riders try a bit before paying for it, and variable products were hard to manage by SKU.
[ WHAT WE BUILT ]
A Medusa.js store with a Next.js storefront, a migrated catalog, and the trial checkout written as its own Medusa module, then ongoing support after launch.
One order, two possible endings.
Watch an order run through the module twice: once kept, once returned. The store settles both without anyone on the team stepping in.
- 01Try at checkoutNext to Buy now, the product page offers Try now, pay later.
- 02Trial periodThe bit ships and the 30 day trial window opens.
- 03Keep or returnThe rider decides with the bit in hand; the module tracks the trial on the order.
- 04Settled automaticallyKept items are charged, returns close out, and emails go out at each step.
